Zaha Hadid has always been one of the most inspiring woman architects I admired. Zaha was an Iraqi-British architect. She had a way of designing buildings and making them futuristic. She was the first woman to be awarded the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2004. The Pritzker Architecture Prize is awarded annually to honor living architects whose designs demonstrate a combination of talent, commitment and vision, which produced consistent contributions to humankind and built through the art of architecture. Zaha Hadid past away at the age of 65 in 2016.
In her last years, Zaha Hadid designed a luxury condo over the High Line. The condo is beyond remarkable and majestic. The 11 story building features 40 condos, which include two penthouses. The exterior of the building is made out of glass and sculpted metal that wraps around and forms an L-shape. Each condo consist of two to five bedrooms ranging about 1,700 to 6,600 square feet. The building includes great amenities such as a garage, doormen/ concierge, IMAX theater, private spa, 75-foot pool and a fitness center. I'm sure you're anxious to move in just like me. Before you pack your bags the condos range from $4.9 million to $50 million. Lord knows I need to hit the lotto already so I can live in this luxury piece of art lol.
So the next time you're on the High Line stop by and check out Zaha fantastic work. It's located at 520 West 28th, New York. It's already a new historic landmark in New York that's worth seeing.
